AESTHETIC AND INFRASTRUCTURAL ADAPTATION OF HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL MOBILITY. INSIGHTS FROM THE EXHIBITORS.

It’s also through its exhibitors that GEE, Global Elevator Exhibition, describes how the market of horizontal and vertical mobility is adapting to an increasingly diverse demand. A key feature of the sector's offer is the adaptability to infrastructural, aesthetic and accessibility requirements, especially with regard to the residential field. We talked about this with Nova Elevator.

New living requirements and technological developments are helping to make residential lifts and escalators increasingly 'customer oriented' and suitable for every need, thanks to the use of automation, voice guidance, touch screens and remote control systems, as well as increasingly compact aesthetics. Therefore, it is no coincidence that according to Transparency Market Research, an international market intelligence company, the global residential lift industry is expected to grow at a compound annual rate of 7.3% during the period 2021-2031. This development is partly attributable to the increased demand for vertical mobility solutions that are accessible to everyone.

Accessibility and energy efficiency, therefore, represent a growth opportunity for the horizontal and vertical mobility market, as they comply with the guiding principles of an increasingly sustainable and inclusive society.

We asked NOVA Elevators, one of GEE exhibitors, to give us an inside view on the latest developments in the industry, both in Italy and abroad. As a matter of fact, NOVA Elevators is active worldwide in the manufacture of mini-elevators, that is, highly advanced vertical mobility solutions that can be adapted to the existing living environment.

What are the solutions proposed by your company?

Niccolò Gavazzo, Marketing Specialist and spokesman of NOVA Elevators, replied: “NOVA Elevators aims to design and manufacture mini-elevators capable of improving the quality of life of its customers, so as to guarantee full autonomy and independence.  We build mini-elevators that are suitable for every environment and designed according to the available space in order to eliminate any architectural barriers and minimise the amount of masonry work required. We equip lifts with accessories to ensure safety in the cabin, such as handrails, seats and non-slip floors, which, together with the smooth and jolt-free ride, provide a comfortable experience for all users. At the same time, we believe that a mini-elevator should not just be functional, safe and technologically advanced, but also aesthetically pleasing and should add value to the spaces and buildings in which it is installed. For NOVA, design and attention to detail of lifting systems are a fundamental aspect in order to provide customers with a piece of furniture that becomes an integral part of the house, thus creating a unique and exclusive design”.
