The inaugural Global Elevator Exhibition (GEE) took place from November 15 to 17, 2023, at Fieramilano (Rho), drawing considerable attention from international companies and industry professionals. As an integral component of MIBA - the Milan International Building Alliance, the event was part of a strategic collaboration among interconnected sectors, presenting a comprehensive, unified, and extensive range within the construction industry. In total, MIBA welcomed 80,000 attendees from 111 countries, involving more than 1,350 companies and engaging 427 international buyers from 72 countries.
Establishing itself as a key focal point within the industry, the event garnered widespread support from operators and lift sector experts. There had been a longstanding demand for an international platform in Italy, a country that holds substantial influence in this field: being the world's second-largest exporter of lifts, following only China.
Featuring 118 exhibitors from 13 different countries and welcoming 100 highly skilled hosted buyers from 23 countries, notably the United States, Argentina, Egypt, Australia, and the United Arab Emirates, GEE emerged as an outstanding platform for presenting advanced, inclusive, and accessible technical solutions. Additionally, it highlighted innovative and sustainable design concepts.
The success is confirmed by the visitors, who recorded very positive numbers. |
